There’s still room for you!

Claremont women you are invited to learn more and join a women’s support group in Glendora. It’s just a short drive from Claremont on Tuesday evenings from 8pm until 9:30pm. We have a great group of women but we have room for 3 more. 8 is the maximum number for a good group.

We talk about all sorts of things and there’s really nothing we can’t talk about. If it’s important to you then it’s important to the group. Take your time as you become more comfortable with sharing.

I am a marriage and family therapist and I will facilitate the group so it is safe, confidential and respectful. When you are part of a group you learn About Yourself!

Last Tuesday we had our first meeting of the Women’s Support Group. It was a huge success! We had a great mix of women. We started with group rules, introductions and the name game. There were many commonalities as seen by our discussions. This week common themes included:

1. Relationships

2. Divorce

3. Starting Over

4. Autonomy

5. Loss

6. Parenting

7. Infidelity

8. Loneliness

We meet in Glendora on Tuesday evenings from 8pm until 9:30 pm. The fee is $45 per meeting with possible PPO Reimbursement. Group is confidential and supportive.

Taking names for the women’s support group that will be starting in late September. If you feel you would benefit from support and friendship then this group is for you. Facilitated by Ilissa Banhazl, marriage and family therapy in Glendora.

Women from past groups have been asking me to start another group. It changed their lives. Friendships have continued long after group ended.

Any topics are welcome. The most common ones are:
